Plas Tirion (pronounced plas TIR-ee-on) takes its name from the Welsh — plas meaning a manor house, and tirion meaning kind, gentle or gracious. A gracious house, in other words. It felt like the right name.
A characterful house designed for shared stays, group gatherings, and retreat experiences.
Plas Tirion sits at the heart of RoR Escapes - a beautifully considered space where groups can come together with room to think, connect, and be. Specifically designed to enable guests to congregate and have time alone, it offers four distinct self-catering boutique suites, generous communal areas, a large fully-equipped communal kitchen and access to a private enclosed garden. Everything is provided to ensure a stay that feels both supported and spacious.

This is a beautiful property, we were a big group and had the whole house which was absolutely immaculate.
It is a kitchen that a cook has fitted out.

Plas Tirion has been designed to accommodate groups within a whole house setting, and we prefer to book the the space as a whole house. However, we are willing to consider bookings for one or more of the suites on an individual basis, dependent on availability and seasonal demand, on the understanding that the communal areas are for shared use and we ask all guests to be considerate of others. Enquire below with details of your specific requirements.
Plas Tirion has flexibility to accommodate between 8-10 guests.
Beds are provided for 8 guests, (namely Garden Suite: 1 super-king zip-lock bed, (or divided as two single beds), Attic Suite: 1 x king-size bed, Chapel: 1 double bed, Vintage: 1 double bed). By prior arrangement and additional per person charge, the two futons (one in Garden Suite, the other in Vintage Suite) can be made into additional double beds.
Parking is available at the nearby public car park at Dog Lane, a minute's walk from the property. Visitor parking permits will be provided on arrival.
Additionally, on-street drop-off parking is available on the street in front of the property. This is restricted to 30 minutes, no return within 30 minutes between 8:00 and 18:00.
Yes, the Ysmestfan can be booked as part of your stay. Prices and availability will be confirmed at point of enquiry.

A bookings are confirmed on receipt of the appropriate deposit, and subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at both Plas Tirion and Ardwyn Bach. Ardwyn Bach visitors can have two dogs, and Plas Tirion up to four dogs, as part of any stay and subject to the dog-cleaning surcharge. Ymestfan only accepts registered assistance dogs.
At present, we do not offer electric charging facilities. Public charging facilities are available within 0.5 miles.
